Carlos Martinez allowed one walk through 0.1 innings to record his fifth save in Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez entered the game with two outs in the ninth and two runners on, and he issued a walk to the first batter he faced to load the bases. He was able to get the next batter to fly out to nail down his fifth save of the season. He's been solid in his newfound role as the Cardinals' closer, and seems to have job security unless the team picks up an established closer at the deadline.
