Mike Soroka strikes out nine over seven scoreless innings Sunday

Braves starter Mike Soroka tossed seven shutout innings in Sunday’s win over the San Diego Padres, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out a career-high nine batters. The win brings him to 10-1 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Soroka had been regressing a bit over the last month after getting off to an incredible start to the season, but he bounced back in a big way with a dominating performance on Sunday. While he will not likely pitch like the sub-2.00 ERA he was for the first couple of months of the season, he should still be a solid fantasy contributor while pitching for a good Braves team for the rest of the season.
