Jeff Samardzija was sharp on Monday versus the Rockies in Coors, allowing just two runs on four hits over 6 2/3 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
The right-hander struck out nine and walked just one as the Giants won the first game of a doubleheader in blowout fashion. It’s always notable when someone pitches well in Coors, but Shark’s start was made even more impressive by the fact that Colorado pitchers gave up a whopping 19 runs. Samardzija is hot right now and will be worth starting next time out versus the Mets.
