Max Fried lands on the IL with blister

Braves starter Max Fried was placed on the 10-day injured list with an index-finger blister on Tuesday, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Bryse Wilson was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett and will start against Milwaukee tonight. (Dave O'Brien on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Fried left Monday's game early with what was deemed a "significant" blister, so his placement on the injured list is not surprising. Blisters have a tendency to recur for pitchers, especially with some of the newer balls in recent years. By putting Fried on the injured list now, the Braves are hoping to get him healthy and avoid any such recurrences.
