Pete Alonso hits 31st home run Wednesday

Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 1-for-6 with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Twins. The homer was his 31st of the year.

Fantasy Impact:

Alonso hit a no-doubter way up into the upper decks in Minnesota on Wednesday in what was his first home run of the second half. He had gotten off to a slow start after the All-Star break with just one hit over his first 13 at-bats, but he showed on Wednesday that he is always one swing away from turning things around.
