Brandon Workman earns a save in win on Wednesday

by John Aubin | Red Sox Correspondent | Thu, Jul 18th 3:36am EDT

Brandon Workman gave up one run on one hit and two walks over 1 2/3 innings of relief to record his fifth save of the season in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays. He struck out four.

Fantasy Impact:

Workman looks to have the lead in the current closer by committee situation in the Red Sox bullpen. But the veteran reliever should be moved back into a setup role when Nathan Eovaldi comes off the IL and is expected to become the main closer. For now, Workman should be grabbed if fantasy owners need saves.
