Nick Pivetta allows one run in rain-shortened outing

Phillies starter Nick Pivetta allowed one earned run on no hits and four walks while striking out four over 2 1/3 innings in a rain-shortened no-decision against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Pivetta got into trouble almost immediately on Wednesday, walking three batters to load the bases. He eventually escaped the jam after allowing just one run but would eventually leave the game after throwing just 2 1/3 innings because of a rain delay. He will now take a 5.74 ERA into his next start against the Tigers in Detroit.
