Ross Stripling lasts five innings, gives up two earned versus Phillies

by Brendan Tuma | Dodgers Correspondent | Thu, Jul 18th 4:54pm EDT

Ross Stripling received a no-decision on Thursday in Philadelphia, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits over five innings pitched.

Fantasy Impact:

Stripling struck out five and didn't walk anyone as the Dodgers went on to lose 7-6. The right-hander has yet to go longer than five innings since rejoining the rotation, but he obviously needed to be stretched out. He'll be worth starting in fantasy next time out versus the Angels. Hopefully he'll be able to go long enough to qualify for a quality start.
