by John Aubin | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Jul 19th 3:23am EDT

Charlie Morton took the loss in Game 2 of the Rays' doubleheader with the Yankees on Thursday, giving up five earned runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings, striking out four and walking four as Tampa Bay fell 5-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Morton's record drops to 11-3 on the season. Despite the loss, the veteran starter is having a great year for the Rays with a 2.61 ERA to go along with a 1.06 WHIP and a 152:41 K:BB through 124 1/3 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next start which is a tough matchup against the Red Sox.
