Kyle Freeland (2-7) allowed five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six over four innings in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Yankees. He took his seventh loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Most of the damage was done when Freeland gave up a grand slam in third inning to Edwin Encarnacion. He has not been able to find his groove since returning to the rotation. Freeland owns a 7.62 ERA and 1.65 WHIP with 58 strikeouts in 67 1/3 innings pitched. His next scheduled start is Wednesday, away against the Nationals.
