Justin Verlander (12-4) allowed two runs on eight hits with one walk while striking out 12 in over six innings. He picked up his 12th win of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Verlander was dominant once again in Friday's 4-3 win over the Rangers. He is well on his way to possible CY Young award, and owns a 2.99 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with 172 strikeouts in 138 2/3 innings pitched for the Astros this season. His next scheduled start is Wednesday, home against the Athletics.
