Patrick Corbin allows two runs in no-decision Friday

by Mike Maher | Nationals Correspondent | Sat, Jul 20th 7:33am EDT

Nationals starter Patrick Corbin allowed two earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision against the Braves on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Corbin clearly didn't have his best stuff on Friday, which was not ideal as he was facing off against the Braves and one of the better lineups in the National League. He allowed 10 baserunners while striking out just five over five innings, and he was on the hook for the loss before Victor Robles tied the game with a two-run homer in the ninth. He will look to bounce back when he takes on the Rockies at home in his next start.
