Mike Leake tosses complete game shutout

Mike Leake (8-8) threw a one-hit, one-walk complete game shutout in Friday's 10-0 win over the Angels. He earned his eighth win of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Leake came within three outs of a perfect game after retiring the first 24 batters. He earned his fifth career complete game and second career shutout. Leake owns a 4.27 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 91:19 K:BB in 124 1/3 innings for the Mariners this season. His next scheduled start is Wednesday, home against the Rangers.
