Luis Castillo: sharp in no-decision Saturday

by Connor Rooney | Reds Correspondent | Sat, Jul 20th 10:15pm EDT

Luis Castillo allowed one run on five hits and one walk across six innings Saturday against the Cardinals. He struck out four and did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Castillo was sharp early on in this one, and his major blemish was allowing Matt Wieters to take him deep in the sixth. Castillo also limited walks, only allowing one free pass and needing just 88 pitches to get through six frames. He has an elite 2.36 ERA and 138 strikeouts in 118 innings this season. He lines up to face the Rockies at home next Friday.
