Brett Anderson tosses quality start before exiting with a blister

by Brad Camara | Sun, Jul 21st 9:17am EDT

Brett Anderson allowed three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Twins. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Anderson exited Saturday's contest with a blister on his left middle finger, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. He now has four quality starts in a row and owns a 3.82 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 57 strikeouts in 115 1/3 innings. His next scheduled start is up in the air since he exited Saturday's game with a blister. If he does make his next start, it will be scheduled Thursday, home against the Rangers.
