Kyle Hendricks (7-8) took the loss Sunday against the Padres, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks across seven innings. He struck out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Hendricks was sharp Sunday, but the Cubs' did not support their pitcher with any offensive firepower. He largely avoided major damage until surrendering a solo homer in the seventh, effectively ending his outing. He'll take his 3.41 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into his next start, scheduled to come next weekend in Milwaukee.
