Drew Smyly allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings in a no-decision against the Pirates in his Phillies debut on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Smyly last pitched in the big leagues on June 18 for the Rangers, and he had an 8.42 ERA over 13 appearances prior to Sunday’s start. His next start will likely come against the Braves at home, and it is pretty hard to trust him for that outing despite his strong performance on Sunday.
