Pitching for the first time since undergoing elbow surgery, Nathan Eovaldi allowed three runs on five hits in 2/3 inning on Monday against the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Eovaldi entered the game with the Red Sox leading 8-0, so his performance did little harm. Boston aims to ease Eovaldi back through relief appearances like Monday's. Ideally, the outings conclude with more outs earned than runs given. He should see additional work in the coming weeks.
