Trevor Williams looks sharp in no-decision Monday

by Connor Rooney | Pirates Correspondent | Tue, Jul 23rd 8:26am EDT

Trevor Williams allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits with two walks and seven strikeouts across five innings Monday against the Cardinals. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite only lasting five innings, Williams put together a nice game, only days after getting over a nasty sickness, no less. Overall, Williams is 3-3 with a 4.96 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 68 strikeouts in 81.2 innings. He'll take on the Mets on Saturday in his next start.
