Marlins starter Caleb Smith allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine over seven innings to earn his sixth win of the season on Tuesday against the White Sox. The win brings him to 6-4 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith was actually perfect into the sixth inning in this one and finished with seven strong innings to earn his third win and toss his third quality start in his last four outings. He will take a 3.30 ERA and 110 strikeouts over 90 innings into his next start against the Diamondbacks at home.
