Gallo’s MRI was inconclusive and he will fly to see a hand specialist on Thursday. The Rangers are concerned it’s a broken hamate bone as to the reason why he is seeing a specialist. Gallo will go on the injured list, and the timetable of his return will depend on the results from Thursday. Willie Calhoun will most likely be called up as Gallo’s replacement.
