Joe Musgrove (7-9) took the loss Thursday against the Cardinals, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and one walk across five innings. He struck out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Musgrove was burned by the long ball, serving up three homers in his five innings. This start came after one in which Musgrove tossed six innings with no earned runs, so it appears he's back to the drawing board. He'll take his 4.29 ERA and 100:29 K:BB in 115.1 innings into his next start, next week against the Reds.
