Mets starter Zack Wheeler allowed three earned runs on six hits and no walks while striking out seven over 5 1/3 innings in a win over the Pirates on Friday.

Wheeler was making his first start since being activated from the injured list and may have been making his last start for the Mets ahead of the upcoming trade deadline. He has a 4.71 ERA but 137 strikeouts over 124 1/3 innings on the year, and his value going forward will be affected by where he lands in a trade. If he remains on the Mets past the deadline, he will take on the White Sox in Chicago in his next start.
