Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports the Mets are acquiring Marcus Stroman from the Blue Jays in exchange for pitching prospects Anthony Kay and Simeon Woods-Richardson. (Jon Morosi on Twitter )

The deal is pending medical information. Stroman is in the midst of a nice season for the Blue Jays, posting a 2.96 ERA while striking out 99 batters over 124 2/3 innings and 21 starts.
