Mets starter Jason Vargas allowed three earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five over 5 2/3 innings in Sunday's win over the Pirates. The win brings him to 6-5 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The win was the third in a row for Vargas, and he fell just one out shy of his third straight quality start, as well. He will take a 4.01 ERA into his next start, though it is unclear if that will come with the Mets.
