Wade Miley (9-4) allowed five hits and two walks while striking out six in five scoreless innings in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Cardinals. He earned his ninth win of the season.

Miley's 3.06 ERA is the lowest he's owned since early April and he finished this month with a solid 26:9 K:BB. He owns a 3.06 ERA and 106 strikeouts in 126 2/3 innings this season. His next start is scheduled for Thursday, home against the Mariners.
