Nationals starter Patrick Corbin allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings in Monday's win over the Atlanta Braves. The win brings him to 9-5 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Corbin's line may have been even better if not for some shoddy defense behind him, as his first run came in after Anthony Rendon made a diving stop on a ball down the line but then threw the ball away. He now has seven quality starts in his last eight trips to the mound and will take a 3.23 ERA into his next start against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
