Roenis Elias allowed a hit in a scoreless inning in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Rangers. He earned his 14th save of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Even with Hunter Strickland off the IL, Elias still got the call in a save situation. The Mariners could be show casing his skills right before the trade deadline. If Elias remains with the Mariners, he could start ceding some save opportunities to Hunter Strickland. Elias owns a 4.40 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, with 45 strikeouts and 14 saves through 47 innings this season.
