Scooter Gennett traded to San Francisco Giants

Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett was traded to the San Francisco Giants just ahead of Wednesday's 4pm trade deadline, according to multiple reports. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Giants sold some pieces on Wednesday but also added Gennett and held onto Madison Bumgarner in moves that could mean that they are buying their recent success and do also not envision a complete rebuild of the roster in 2020. Gennett has been injured for most of the season and is a free agent at the end of the year, but the assumption is that they acquired him with the intention of re-signing him.
