Wade LeBlanc gives up six runs in loss Wednesday

by Brad Camara | Thu, Aug 1st 6:19am EDT

Wade LeBlanc allowed six runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two through 4 1/3 innings in Wednesday's 9-7 loss to the Rangers.

Fantasy Impact:

LeBlanc was used a traditional starter Wednesday, and in that role has given up 12 runs in two July starts. He is typically used as a primary pitcher, and has only allowed only five runs in his last four appearances following an opener. LeBlanc owns a 5.17 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, with 65 strikeouts in 87 innings. His next scheduled appearance will be Tuesday against the Padres, although it is not clear if he will start or follow an opener.
