Chase Anderson: sharp in no-decision Thursday

by Connor Rooney | Red Sox Correspondent | Thu, Aug 1st 9:28pm EDT

Chase Anderson did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Athletics. He allowed one run on two hits and three walks across six innings. He struck out five.

Fantasy Impact:

Anderson's major blemish was allowing a solo home run in the third; otherwise, he was dominant. The Brewers' bullpen coughed up the lead late, costing Anderson the win. Anderson owns a 3.73 ERA across 17 starts this season, to go along with a 1.20 WHIP. He's emerged as one of the few reliable, healthy arms in a rotation that plagued by injuries. He'll take on the Pirates on the road next on Tuesday.
