Gio Gonzalez did not factor into the decision Saturday against the Cubs. He allowed one run on five hits and one walk over 4.1 innings while striking out four.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez's only run allowed came from allowing a triple to Javier Baez, then tossing a wild pitch. He was removed after 73 pitches, likely because he recently returned from a lengthy injury absence. He'll take his 3.35 ERA in 45.2 innings into his next start, scheduled to come Friday at home against the Rangers.
