Kevin Gausman lands with Reds on waiver claim

Fantasy Impact:
Gausman’s move to the Reds came out of nowhere, as there were no prior reports that Atlanta had waived him. The Reds will pick up his remaining $9.35 million contract and will have him under team control through his final year of arbitration in 2020. He owns a 6.19 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, with 85 strikeouts in 80 innings for the Braves this season. Gausman will most likely enter the Reds rotation or be used as multi-innings reliever.
