Mariners utilityman Tim Beckham is being suspended 80 games after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance, according to a report from MLB insider Jon Morosi on Twitter. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)

The 29-year-old Beckham is hitting .237 with 15 home runs, 39 runs scored, 47 RBIs, and one stolen base through 88 games this season. This suspension will cost him the rest of this season and the beginning of next season. He is eligible for arbitration for the last time this upcoming offseason.
