Alex Colome saves 22nd game
by Matthew Adam | Wed, Aug 7th 8:05am EDT
Chicago White Sox closer Alex Colome picked up his 22nd save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Tigers in the first game of a Tuesday doubleheader. He allowed one run in his one inning of work while striking out one and walking one.
Fantasy Impact:
Colome made things interesting but he fortunately had a three-run cushion when he entered the game. The veteran closer has a 2.44 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts on the season. He has only blown one save all season.
