Chase Anderson allowed two runs on six hits with one walk and four strikeouts across 5.2 innings against the Pirates on Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision.

Anderson cruised through five scoreless innings, before allowing a pair of runs to score in the sixth. Anderson allowed two or fewer runs for the ninth straight outing on Tuesday, which has lowered his ERA to 3.70 and his WHIP to 1.20. He also has 94 strikeouts in 99.2 innings this season. He'll take on the Twins in his next outing, scheduled for Tuesday.
