Lourdes Gurriel Jr. headed to the injured list with quad strain

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was diagnosed with a quad strain and is being placed on the injured list, according to Ben Nicholson-Smith on Twitter. (Ben Nicholson-Smith on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gurriel left Thursday's game against the Yankees after legging out an infield single. He fell awkwardly while crossing first base and stayed down, but manager Charlie Montoyo said after the game that Gurriel just had a quad cramp. An MRI apparently revealed more than a cramp, and now Gurriel will miss at least the next 10 days.
