Chris Archer did not factor into the decision in Friday's loss to the Cardinals, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks across six innings. He struck out nine.
Fantasy Impact:
Archer looked sharp for the most part on Friday, issuing no walks and whiffing nine in six innings. This was Archer's first start since June 28 where he did not surrender a home run. In a season that's surely been frustrating for Archer, he has a 5.23 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in 113.2 innings. He'll take on the Angels on the road next on Wednesday.
