Josh Hader blows save, picks up win Friday

by Connor Rooney | Astros Correspondent | Sat, Aug 10th 8:37am EDT

Josh Hader blew the save against the Rangers on Friday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk through 1.2 innings. He struck out four.

Fantasy Impact:

Mysteriously, Hader has been lights out all season, but has been very susceptible to allowing home runs. That was the theme again on Friday, as he surrendered a game-tying home run to Elvis Andrus in the ninth inning. Hader was able to stumble into the win, since the Brewers walked it off in the bottom of the inning. On the season, Hader has a 2.77 ERA, 25 saves, and 102 strikeouts in 55.1 innings.
