Ken Giles is avoiding going on the injured list

Ken Giles (elbow) played catch Sunday and felt good enough that the Blue Jays will hold off on placing him on the injured list, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Giles has been dealing with an elbow issue and has not pitched since Wednesday. With the Jays out of the playoff hunt, they would not push Giles if they did not need too so his elbow should be fine and look for the veteran reliever to return to closing duties.
