Detroit Tigers right-hander Spencer Turnbull pitched well in a 7-2 loss to the Mariners on Thursday. Turnbull allowed three runs over five innings of work while striking out eight.

Turnbull took another loss, dropping his record to 3-11 on the season. He has a 3.75 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 106 strikeouts in 112 2/3 innings of work. He has performed well this season but pitching for a rebuilding Tigers team has limited his upside.
