Julio Teheran gets knocked around by Mets Thursday

by Mike Maher | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Aug 16th 7:59am EDT

Braves starter Julio Teheran allowed six earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out two over just 1 1/3 innings in Thursday's loss to the Mets.

Fantasy Impact:

Teheran has outperformed his underlying metrics all season, but Thursday was more than just a regression to the mean. He had thrown three quality starts in his last four trips to the mound heading into Thursday, and he had dropped his ERA down to 3.35 in the process. Now, he'll take a 3.71 ERA into his next start against the Marlins at home.
