Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. is likely done for the remainder of the season, according to beat writer Kevin Acee. (Kevin Acee on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It was originally thought that Tatis just had back spasms or a minor back strain, but his issue is apparently serious enough that he is likely to be shut down for the remainder of the season. He had been hampered by a few injuries this year but was otherwise having a spectacular rookie season, batting .317 with 61 runs scored, 22 home runs, 53 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases through 84 games.
