Detroit Tigers right-hander Jordan Zimmermann pitched well in a 1-0 loss to the Rays on Saturday. Zimmermann pitched five shutout innings while striking out five.

The veteran hurler had to settle for a no-decision in the 13-inning game. It has been a rough season for Zimmermann, who has a 1-8 record, 6.66 ERA, and 1.51 WHIP in 16 starts. Saturday's outing goes down as one of his better starts of the season.
