Logan Webb earns win in MLB debut

by Brendan Tuma | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Aug 18th 9:06am EDT

Logan Webb earned the win in his major league debut on Saturday versus Arizona, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits over five innings pitched.

Fantasy Impact:

Webb looked good, striking out seven and allowing just one walk as the Giants won 11-6. The 22-year-old posted a 1.85 ERA in the minors this year and could be worth adding in deeper fantasy formats. It’s unclear if he’ll make another start, but it would come against Oakland next weekend if he does.
