Yusei Kikuchi (5-8) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out eight through scoreless nine innings in Sunday's 7-0 win over the Blue Jays. He won his fifth game of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Kikuchi needed just 96 pitches (65 strikes) to fire the complete game. He was hit hard in his last outing, surrendering five runs on nine hits and a walk over just 3 1/3 innings of work, but he brought his best stuff on Sunday. Kikuchi owns 5.19 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with a 103:43 K:BB over 135 1/3 innings this season. His next start is Friday, home against the Blue Jays.
