Sonny Gray (9-6) allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks while striking out 10 in six innings Tuesday against the Padres, earning the win.

Gray held the Padres scoreless through 5.2 innings, before allowing a solo homer. Still, he generated 19 swinging strikes in the double-digit strikeout performance. Gray now holds a 2.92 ERA and 1.12 WHIP this season, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. He'll look to keep the momentum going in his next start, which is scheduled to be Monday at Miami.
