Julio Teheran bounces back to shut down Marlins Wednesday

by Mike Maher | Braves Correspondent | Thu, Aug 22nd 10:10am EDT

Braves starter Julio Teheran tossed seven shutout innings in Wednesday's win over the Marlins, allowing five hits and three walks while striking out nine. The win brings him to 8-8 on the year.

Fantasy Impact:

Teheran bounced back with a strong outing on Wednesday after allowing six runs in just 1 1/3 innings against the Mets in his last start. He has outperformed his underlying metrics all season, but he will occasionally have a rough start when the luck doesn't go his way. He is scheduled to take on the Rockies in Colorado in his next start, where pitchers are known to run into some bad luck.
