Nationals starter Max Scherzer allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out three over four innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer was on a limited pitch count on Thursday, so this performance was about the best that could have been expected. He should have a longer leash when he takes on the Orioles at home in his next start.
