Jon Lester (10-9) took the loss Friday against the Nationals, allowing six runs on nine hits and one walk over 4.1 innings. He struck out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Lester just couldn't find his groove in this start, allowing a solo homer to Adam Eaton in the first inning, then surrendering runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings before being removed. The rough outing raises Lester's season ERA to 4.49, and he has 134 strikeouts in 138.1 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which will come Thursday against the Mets on the road.
